4 Wix Website Examples That Prove They Work For Any Business

Wix websites allow business owners to create and design their own websites without any coding experience.

It’s one of the reasons it’s so popular. Plus, they offer a huge variety of templates, design tools, and features that can help small businesses generate professional-looking websites quickly and easily.

Again, with no website experience.

However, it's not as easy as it looks. As many advantages that Wix has, there are some disadvantages as well. Many that you won't realize until after you've committed time and money.

This is usually when business owners come to us. At High Tide Creative, our expert Wix website designers can help solve problems such as customizing your website's templates, changing codes, compressing large high-quality images for master website speed, and more.

Knowing all of that, do you still want to create a Wix website?

Let’s talk about it some more.

How Much Does a Wix Website Cost?

Wix offers several pricing plans for its website-building platform, which vary in terms of the features and resources they provide.

Some of the main factors that affect the cost of a Wix website include the type of plan you choose. You can purchase Wix websites at these four levels:

  • Free: $0, but with Wix branding and limitations, no custom domain, and other limited functionalities. We don't recommend this for business owners who want to make a full-time living with their brand.

  • Website Plans: These range from $16 to $45 per month and include connecting a custom domain, additional storage, and access to more design tools and features. However, customization is limited, so specific, more advanced, or specialized tools and integrations may require the purchase of additional apps or services. This can increase the overall cost of your website.

  • Business & E-commerce Plans: Includes things like online stores and product inventory management. These cost between $27-$59 per month. We recommend this plan to start.

  • Enterprise Plans: These Wix websites are built for large-scale businesses. You have to request a call with Wix to get their pricing.

It's always good to check the Wix website for their latest pricing and features options before deciding on a plan.

Building a Wix Website For Your Business in 3 Easy Steps

While it’s easy for a non-tech-savvy entrepreneur to build Wix websites, it’s still going to take some time.

If you want to get the bare bones of your website started, here’s what you need to do.

1. Choose a template

Wix offers a wide variety of templates you can use as a starting point for your website. You can browse through the different options and select a template that fits your business's style and needs.

Once you've chosen a template, you can customize it to your liking (or we can do it for you).

2. Customize your site

Wix websites offer many design tools and features that you can use to customize your website. You can:

● Add and edit text

● Easily upload brand images.

● Modify the layout

● Select brand colors

● And more

This is when you'll want to add features and integrations to your core website pages (Home, About Contact, Services, etc.). Wix offers a variety of features and integrations that you can add to your site. We recommend adding the following:

● Add a contact form to your Contact Page

● Add online payment to your product or service pages (along with a contact form)

● Add social media links to your Menu or Navigation bar. We also recommend adding a preview of your socials (such as your Instagram Feed) to your About Page.

● Add SEO Keywords to your metadata. Here's how.

3. Publish your website

Once you have customized your website and added any features or integrations you need, you can publish your site and make it live on the internet!

Of course, each page of your website can take a day or two on its own Remember, your Wix website design, copywriting, SEO, and uploading product/service sections are different skills you'll need to develop to have a successful website launch.
