Amber McCracken has been a marketing and public relations professional for over 35 years. Amber began her career as a communications specialist at USNews & World Report in Washington, DC, promoting the content of the magazine and executing special events. Following USNews, she worked at two international public affairs firms, Hill and Knowlton and Ruder Finn, managing internal and external communications outreach for clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Benjamin Moore, and Johnson & Johnson. Amber also has extensive experience in the non-profit sector having served as communications director for the National Women’s Health Resource Center, the Alliance for Aging Research and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She is an expert in the areas of strategic messaging, traditional and social media relations and community outreach.
